Efforts to return the abductees: Mossad chief Dadi Barnea is expected to hold additional meetings in the coming days with senior Qatari and American officials, with the aim of reaching another stage of phases for the return of the abducted Israelis to Gaza.
These are new parameters, and the Israeli hope is that the Qataris will force Hamas into a second deal. However, there is pessimism about the feasibility of a new deal succeeding, since so far all the signals from Hamas are completely negative.
