According to a report published Tuesday evening by Channel 12 News, guiding principles have been set for another abductee deal.
Under the new framework, about 40 abductees are expected to be released, including women, the elderly, the physically and mentally chronically ill. In return, Israel will consider being flexible in the number of days of respite in relation to the number of abductees released.
In addition, the release of prisoners will also undergo a change. According to the report, a higher number of prisoners than the previous plan will be released, as well as those with higher severity of the acts.
