Electricity grid, ventilation and sewage infrastructure, prayer and rest rooms: Hamas' headquarters tunnels in the northern Gaza Strip were located and destroyed. One of Yahya Sinwar's hiding apartments was located and destroyed.

Sinwar's hiding place, which was located and destroyed by fighters from the 162nd Division, was located near Gaza City in the northern Gaza Strip, and many artifacts were found inside. After investigating the findings, it was found that the apartment was used as a hiding place for the head of Hamas' political wing.
The Yahalam fighters carried out an investigation using additional technological means, and discovered that a strategic shaft was located in the basement. The forces investigated the shaft and reached a significant tunnel apparently used by senior figures in Hamas' military-terrorist and political wings.

The apartment is part of a long and extensive network of tunnels in which senior figures of the Hamas terrorist organization moved and operated. The shaft led to a tunnel 218 meters long and 20 meters deep in the northern Gaza Strip. The tunnel contained an electrical network, ventilation and sewage infrastructure, means of staying, prayer and rest rooms, and was built so that it was possible to stay there and conduct fighting for long periods of time.
After the completion of the investigation and operational activity carried out along the route, the tunnel was destroyed by fighters of the Yahalam unit.
