After Amsalem repeatedly attacked her and called for her removal, Companies Authority Director Michal Rosenbaum announced on Saturday that she was resigning from her position.
"When this is how the prime minister operates, it should come as no surprise that no other entity has arisen to restrain the minister and act to protect the civil service," Rosenbaum told her associates, adding that "I will not sit in the front row and watch the destruction of government companies. From the moment the threshold was breached, I can no longer fulfill my mission and protect the government companies."

With the completion of Amsalem's move to transfer control of the Companies Authority to the Ministry of Regional Cooperation (a move to be completed on Monday, January 01, 01), his takeover of the Companies Authority and through it of the government companies was completed.
