Hagai Hadad, deputy to Miriam Feirberg, Netanya's mayor and in charge of informal education in the city, declared that he supports another candidate for mayor • In a letter sent to him as a result, Feirberg wrote: "By doing so you have expressed a manifest lack of confidence in me" • Now, it has been reported on her behalf that she is restoring to him the powers that were denied to him

After Netanya's mayor, Miriam Feirberg, decided to revoke the powers of her deputy mayor, Hagai Hadad, who has served for 15 years as her deputy and is in charge of informal education in the city, she reversed herself and returned his powers to him, following an appeal from Israel Hayom.

Haddad declared that he supports Avi Salma's candidate for mayor, and as a result, Fayberg sent him a letter in which she wrote: "I wish to inform you that since you have publicly joined Mr. Avi Salma, who is running against me for mayor, by doing so you have expressed a manifest lack of confidence in me and in my leadership of the city. I release you from all the powers that I have delegated to you in the framework of informal education and in any other framework."

Haddad responded to the letter: "I regret Feirberg's decision at this time, one of the most difficult times the people of Israel are going through. I work all for the city of Netanya and for all its residents, and I pray and hope for the success of the IDF, God willing, and for the safety of the soldiers and abductees. It's a shame that the mayor is stuck on October 6. These disputes belong to the past. I thought she was bigger than that and what she was doing was for the benefit of the residents of Netanya, I was wrong."
