According to the American announcement, at around 20:30 p.m. Sanaa time, a container ship belonging to the Danish shipping giant Maersk was attacked with anti-ship ballistic missiles. According to the claim, the attacked ship flies the Singapore flag and was hit by one missile, but there were no casualties on board and it remained in a navigable condition.
According to the Americans, two missile boats arrived at the scene of the incident and assisted the attacked vessel. The American missile ship Gravelli intercepted two anti-ship ballistic missiles fired by the Houthis. Denmark also announced yesterday that it would send a warship to the Red Sea as part of the US coalition to protect freedom of navigation in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
