Former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star Ian Ziering got into a particularly violent brawl on the streets of Los Angeles and came out tooth and eye. TMZ published footage tonight showing the 59-year-old American actor, who became a household name in the <>s after playing Steve Sanders in the legendary teen series, being brutally attacked on the famous Hollywood Avenue in the City of Angels.

According to the video and eyewitness accounts, it appears that a biker gang drove wildly through the city streets. One of the gang members apparently hit Ziering's car, and the actor got out of his car to confront him. Then, according to the documentation, the ugly commotion broke out. Several motorcyclists, including one woman, surrounded Ziering and began beating him vigorously, while the star tried to fight back as he retreated from his attackers. Eventually (and this is not visible in the video), TMZ reports that Ziering managed to get back to his car, while the bikers fled the crime scene. Police are investigating the incident, but no arrests have yet been made. The actor has yet to respond to a request for comment.

In the more than two decades since Beverly Hills, 90210 left screens, Ian Ziering has continued to appear regularly on television, but mostly in small roles in series, voice roles and often as himself. However, he gained some fame after starring in the action-horror-disaster television series "Sharknado", in which he had to deal with an aerial attack by "flying" sharks, which are pulled out of the ocean and storm Los Angeles, New York and other cities with the help of tornadoes. The fifth and final film (so far) in the series was released in 2018.
