Israeli security forces detained three suspects Monday night, after a 15-hour manhunt, in connection with yesterday's shooting attack in Binyamin, in which Ammar Mansour was murdered and a woman was seriously wounded. Two of the suspects were arrested in Ramallah and another in the Jilazun refugee camp. The three suspects, Dr. Aysar Barghouti, Murid al-Atari and Khaled al-Haruf, tied themselves to the attack during an initial interrogation on the ground, and were later taken for interrogation by the Shin Bet.

Yesterday, Ammar Mansour, a 30-year-old resident of East Jerusalem, was murdered in an attack that took place on Route 465 near the British Police junction in Binyamin. Alongside him, a woman in the car was injured and evacuated to a hospital in Ramallah for medical treatment. Near the scene of the attack a burnt vehicle apparently used by the terrorists was found.
An MDA team called to the scene located Mansour in his car with gunshot wounds and gave him medical treatment, but was eventually forced to pronounce him dead. "We quickly arrived at the scene, saw a 30-year-old man sitting in the vehicle unconscious with no pulse and no breathing and suffering from gunshot wounds to his body," medic Benjamin Rosenbaum said yesterday. "We carried out medical tests but his injury was critical and we had to pronounce him dead."
