Ninth place for skier Noa Solush at the World Youth Championships Israel today

Following the success of the Beijing Winter Olympics, Israeli skier Noa Solosh has shown great ability in recent days at the World Junior Championships held in the Panorama Mountains of Canada.

She finished tonight (Monday through Tuesday) in ninth place in the combined competition.

The 19-year-old Solush, passed the first round in a time of 1: 10.11 minutes and was temporarily ranked 17th, but in the second round, with 55.15 seconds, she managed to jump to the sixth place, when the elaborate time was 2: 05.26 minutes.

This result placed her ninth in the overall standings, just 0.89 seconds behind Swiss Alina Opley who finished in third place, with French gold winner Marie Lamar winning the gold medal with 2: 03.73 minutes.

In the coming days, Solush is expected to compete in the slalom and the giant slalom, when she finished the Super G competition in 15th place with 1: 10.11 minutes.
