Homegrown ice hockey player Felix Feuerreiter has extended his contract with TEV Miesbach by one year.

Coach Michael Baindl is happy about this decision.

Miesbach – In the past Bayernliga season he was the biggest positive surprise at TEV Miesbach: Felix Feuerreiter.

The native of Miesbach collected 82 points, scored 37 goals himself and scored 45 more goals for his team-mates.

He was also crowned top scorer in the Bayernliga and was voted Bayernliga player of the season by bayernhockey.com.

Felix Feuerreiter feels comfortable at TEV

Even if the TEV was only enough for the Bayernliga vice championship behind promoted EHC Klostersee, the striker should not have lacked offers from other clubs from higher leagues.

But the 26-year-old remains loyal to his home club, where he has worked through almost all youth teams, and has extended his contract with TEV for another year.

Feuerreiter has been playing for the district town men's team for eight years and has already completed more than 250 appearances in the red and white jersey.

"I feel very comfortable in Miesbach," says the native of Holzkirchner.

“The environment, the team, everything harmonizes perfectly.

It's just fun to be a part of it.”

Especially since the TEV Miesbach team wants to bring a lot of ambition with them for the coming season.

"We always try to be as prepared as possible for the season and to start as early as possible," explains Feuerreiter.

"Summer training is already underway so we'll be ready when it starts again.

I'm already looking forward to the new season and also to going back on the ice in just under two months.

We want to have another good season and play at the top of the Bayernliga."

Coach Michael Baindl is also happy about the extension of his top scorer's contract.

"I'm happy that we were able to keep the best player of the past season.
