Full commitment is required: although the game is still a bit lacking at times, the people from Söchering (here Thomas Haas, right, in the yellow jersey in the derby at ASV Eglfing) cannot be accused of a lack of commitment.

SV Söchering is still without a win as a newcomer in district class 5.

Coach Besim Musliu and his family don't let the good mood spoil it.

Söchering – After a preparation that was anything but consistent, SV Söchering was not without a win after four rounds in district class 5.

Nevertheless, the team and the coaching duo Besim Musliu and Mark Preissing only lost once.

The respectable 1:1 against the favored WSV Unterammergau should be emphasized.

The yield so far is also not disappointing from the point of view of the Söcheringers, especially since those responsible are under no illusions: "It's just about keeping the league," coach Musliu clarifies.

He observes the typical teething problems of a climber in his team.

"As a newcomer, you have to settle in first." Especially when you urgently need time to catch your breath after a successful promotion relegation.

The SVS deliberately got into the preparations later than usual so as not to mentally overload the kickers or jeopardize their enthusiasm for kicking.

And when it did start, it was of course vacation time in Söcherung, which even the coach, as the father of two school-age children, couldn't avoid.

We need a miracle for that.

Coach Besim Musliu on a possible participation in the promotion round.

In addition, the freshly crowned district classist has to compensate for the pawn of previous years: his always goal-hungry and successful attack.

Anton Guggemoos has practically stopped playing football altogether, Jonas Klemm was recently on tour with his bike, and he will be studying in Regensburg from October.

And Robert Kölbl finds it difficult to reconcile professional demands with the increased number of appointments on the sports field.

That leaves Tobias Nebl: But he kept complaining about knee problems recently, and it's difficult for him to connect with the team.

"He somehow doesn't really get going," Musliu puzzles.

Ergo: "The problem is our attack." Only three goals in four games document Musliu's thesis.

But the 47-year-old won't let that slow him down.

He sees defense and midfield set up qualitatively enough to survive in the district class.

"My team shows will and passion." They have now adjusted to the higher league and the way their opponents play.

“As a coach, you know what you have on the field.

You have to use these opportunities,” Musliu describes the principle behind the SVS.

He considers the new grouping to be helpful for the club.

Sure, it won't be the championship round: "We need a miracle for that."

But getting off again immediately becomes more difficult due to the mode being tested.

"The division is not bad and suits us," says Musliu.

This weekend, the Söchering coach can take a closer look at his team's competitors in district class 5.

The game schedule gave his team a weekend off.

What the organizers at SV Söchering regret is the deregistration of the second team from the game.

The thin player blanket did not allow any other decision.

However, the hope at SVS is high that a reserve team will be in the running again in the coming season.
