SV Raisting is still without a home win in the southern district league.

On Sunday it's time to face TSV Großhadern in the local Raiffeisen Arena.

Raisting – In addition to the many small problems of SV Raisting, another one came up last Sunday.

TSV Großhadern, the next opponent, surprisingly defeated Neuried and gave up their mortgage as the only team in the southern district league without a win.

At the same time, TSV increased the pressure on raising by a few bars. Johannes Franz says that this is "by no means an all-or-nothing game", but it is enormously important for the current point in the season.

Before Sunday's duel in Raisting (3 p.m.), both clubs are in the group of the last four with five points each.

Coach Franz was once again busy all week coming to terms with the home defeat against Bad Heilbrunn.

His summary sounds like a lot of work for the next few weeks.

"We're missing a little bit of everything," he stated.

What does that mean specifically?

The basic defensive order looks mostly passable.

But as soon as the Raistinger run backwards after losing the ball, it burns, sometimes even ablaze.

"We can't close the space," complains Franz. According to his calculations, around 90 percent of all opponent's chances come from this pattern.

Unfortunately, his attacking team is plagued by similar elementary problems.

The Raistingers just don't manage to create good chances and preferably many of them.

Player coach Franz sees exactly this dichotomy between offensive and defensive.

But he knows that somehow he has to concentrate on both in training.

The man is really not to be envied for his job at the moment.

We're missing a little bit of everything.

Raisting's player-coach Johannes Franz

Against Bad Heilbrunn he had a long conversation with cult coach Walter Lang.

Among other things, they philosophized about the newcomers from Raistinger, a total of nine this season.

And all of them people who help in terms of quality and quantity.

However, the common fan quickly overlooks one point: the integration of this mass takes significantly longer than with individual ones.

Putting them in off the pitch wasn't a problem, the coach emphasizes.

They were well received right away.

Franz found integration problems exclusively in the area of football.

As an example, he chooses Markus Riedl, who has been the most important player in the SVR attack for a year or two, as Hannes Franz praises.

He creates a few chances with his eye and his passes.

He got on almost blindly with Denis Grgic.

"His balls don't find their target,

because he has completely new strike partners,” complains Franz. Even those who are just learning this role, who have to be painstakingly retrained because they used to play on the flanks or in midfield.

"A striker does a lot intuitively," says Franz.

By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Weilheim-Penzberg newsletter.

But where are the Raistinger attackers supposed to get that from if they have been used in other positions all their lives?

The coach sees great potential for the new position in Gianluca Zandt, a former winger.

He brings the necessary speed with him.

Vinzenz Wolf, who comes from the U19s, first has to get used to the speed and physique in the men's division.

And then there's the matter of the home complex, which gnaws at both fans and players.

Still no home win in three attempts – the Raistingers are really not used to that.

There are only a few explanations for this.

Maybe it's the additional pressure from friends and family, Franz thinks.

Precisely because so much pressure has built up lately, the coach recommends his team: just take it back and don't get stressed.

The season is still long.
