The opening of the Department of Philosophy at Al-Baath University in Homs

The Baath University in Homs today opened the Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities to be available to students from the current academic year.

Dr. Abdul Basit Al-Khatib, President of Al-Baath University, said in a statement to SANA that the opening of the philosophy department came to complete the rest of the majors taught in the college, a requirement for the people of the province and the central region, pointing out that the university has worked to secure the full requirements of this section of faculty members and the preparation of the full study plan including Ensures the success of the educational process.

In turn, Dr. Talal Khalil, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, said: The new Department of Philosophy, which is added to the specialties of the college to become six specializations is one of the important humanities.
