Regarding the measures taken by the Foundation to support the cultivation of tobacco, Barakat pointed out that there are a number of support axes, the most important of which is to raise the prices of buying tobacco in a profitable and financially appropriate manner for the farmer, in addition to compensating farmers whose crops have been damaged as a result of natural factors from the Fund to mitigate the effects of natural disasters and postpone their debts to subsequent seasons. The distribution of ready-made seedlings free of charge to the affected people, pointing out the distribution of other support axes on the requirements of the agricultural process through the processing of special agricultural bulletins for each category to be a guide accessible to farmers and under the supervision of a specialized organ of the institution in addition to provide high seed air Its specifications studied and seedlings produced in Mchatlna to cover the needs of farmers.
Barakat pointed out that the Foundation has secured all the materials and requirements for the success of the tobacco cultivation plan of pesticides, khitan, plastic, pumps, burlap and fertilizer guaranteed in addition to securing the needs of farmers Berli and Virginia varieties of fuel oil to ensure the completion of all agricultural operations needed by the crop.
