The mini-committee of the enlarged Committee to discuss the Constitution continued its meetings for the second day at the United Nations building in Geneva with the participation of the delegation supported by the Syrian government and other delegations.
The delegate of Sana to Geneva that the Committee will hold two meetings today morning and evening with a break, pointing out that the meetings of the Committee closed to the media.
The mini-committee held a meeting yesterday, where sources close to the United Nations announced yesterday that the agenda of this session of the Committee and the proposed by the delegation supported by the Syrian government was adopted.
It is noteworthy that the mini-committee consists of 45 members, 15 members of the delegation supported by the Syrian government, 15 members of the delegation of other parties and 15 members of the delegation of civil society.
Last Friday, the expanded committee to discuss the constitution agreed on the members of the mini-committee and approved the code of conduct and procedures governing the work of the expanded and small bodies.
