Suspected of attempted murder in Haifa: A 25-year-old man was seriously injured in the shooting

A 25-year-old man was injured Saturday night by gunfire on James de Rothschild Avenue in Haifa. MDA crews evacuated him in a severe condition to Rambam Hospital, suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body and unstable. Police are conducting searches for the perpetrators of the offense, along with collections of findings at the scene by the IDF investigators as part of an investigation that has been opened. Initial investigations indicate that the background is a family conflict.

Rambam Hospital reported that the injured man had arrived in the shock room and, due to his condition, was transported to an operating room.

About two months ago, he was shot dead outside a kiosk in Haifa, a 29-year-old resident of the city, by two masked men riding a motorcycle. An MDA team called to the scene gave him first aid and began performing CPR operations which continued even while he was in a human condition to Rambam Hospital. However, shortly after arriving, hospital doctors had to determine his death.
