Get ready for a carbohydrate and sugary attack: Nostalgic desserts from around the world land at the best restaurants in the country from February 11-18. Chefs from selected restaurants around the country will offer warm and sweet comfort to the winter, and of course to the particularly sweet holiday that is still here, Valentine.

Baileys Time at Hotel Montefiore

The highlight of Dessert Week will be the Baileys Time to be served at Hotel Montefiore on February 11-13 from 4 to 7 p.m. Like British tea tradition, Bayliss-based cocktail cocktails will be served alongside the desserts from chef Confectioner Tal Spiegel. The chef, who is known to millions of followers from his popular Instagram account, will be coming to Paris from Paris especially for dessert week. The specialty desserts served by Spiegel are grapefruit tart and milky pistachio, chocolate antera, buckwheat and tonka, shu (layered dough) of black sesame with roses and raspberries. These will be served alongside cocktails, hot drinks and scones, on a special double menu.

Innovative interpretation of nostalgic desserts

The pastry chef of the best restaurants in the country will prepare for Israel's dessert week a special dessert menu consisting of two dishes, a nostalgic dessert and an innovative interpretation of the same dessert. Each dessert will be served with a cocktail that incorporates the Bayliss drink, which also combines nostalgia and a modern look ahead.

Among the restaurants and desserts you will find Toto restaurant and confectioner Alon Goldman who will serve a classic crispy strawberry tartlet with baked and fresh strawberries, red grapefruit and vanilla cream, Krasny - a modern strawberry tart with cheese and chocolate. Muna restaurant and pastry chef Itai Petal will serve apple tart tartan, and vanilla ice cream, apple and maple sorbet, cinnamon apple twill, apple pharmacy, apple-crunched tea and apple cider.

La Republique restaurant and confectioner Eyal Profit will serve Torte Polenta - a Polenta and Almond-based lemon cake, Polenta ice cream on the Graham Cracker crumble and a Limoncello cream. Maghreb restaurant and confectioner Hila Biderman will serve cake cake - a rich childhood memory chocolate cake, ganache topping and colorful candies. Sena Hilwe Ya Jamil - a juicy, rich and light chocolate cake, bitter chocolate and cardamom, chocolate twill and crackers.

Talia and confectionery restaurant Tal Itkin will serve Tiramisu Baylis- Zavion Baylis, crunchy coffee, cocoa biscuits as well as chestnut dessert, Silesia and Bayis-Fudge Chestnut, Creme Baylis, Twill Silk, Mousse Fredo and dark chocolate. Other restaurants that will serve a dessert pair are Kitchen Market, Nono in Kfar Saba, Bar 51, Fresca at Kibbutz Restaurant, Oasis, and Mass.

What's sweeter than chocolate?

Four leading restaurants in Tel Aviv will for the first time collaborate with chocolatier Ike Chocolate. Ike will create together with the confectioner of each specialty chocolate dessert restaurant combined with Guinness beer. For example, at the George and John restaurant, a special Guinness marshmallow and chocolate creme - coffee and Guinness cake will be served.

Hotel Montefiore will be served with a decomposed thermos with Guinness chocolate cat tongues dipped in coffee cream and hot espresso. The Zipra and Topolompompo restaurants will serve special chocolate desserts and Baileys in collaboration with Ike. The chocolatier will also create a special limited-edition chocolate cat ears collection, which will celebrate the perfect blend of chocolate and Baileys, and chocolate and Guinness beer. You can buy the products on its website, in the participating store and restaurants. In addition to restaurant activities, dessert workshops will be held in the chef's pastry chef's studio during the week.
