Police said early this morning (March 2) that a 42-year-old man named Tang Deng and a 31-year-old foreign man had been temporarily charged after an investigation by the West Kowloon Anti-Triad Operation into arson in the demonstration. One count of arson; another 17-year-old man named Zhuang has also been charged with one count of arson. The case will appear in West Kowloon Magistracy this (March 2) morning. In addition, a 19-year-old local man was charged with one count of assaulting a police officer after investigations by the District Criminal Investigation Team of Mong Kok District. The case will appear in West Kowloon Magistracy this (March 2) morning.
