28 respirator wearers
Investments were made in the equipment of the weir. New registration receivers and new bottles for the respirator wearers were procured. These bring a weight saving of 60 percent, which is a big advantage in view of the strain on these active people. The fire brigade can use 28 respirators. The new bottles have already proven themselves in a fire in Pesenlern. However, according to department head Sascha Elsner, personal protective equipment must be added, especially gloves.
The fall arrest group has 16 members, and their skills were particularly in demand when it came to clearing snow on the high sloping roofs. The First Responders can deploy 18 volunteers who have had to disengage 43 times. There are 20 exercises plus two training sessions on the defibrillator.
14 members in the fire brigade youth
The youth is 14 members strong. "You stay young if you surround yourself with young people," said youth leader Natalie Kienmüller-Stadler. She announced that membership recruitment was being strengthened for the 20th anniversary of the youth fire brigade. Youth spokeswoman Franzi Denk reported on eleven participants in the knowledge test, five participants in the Bavarian youth performance test and nine participants in the youth flame test in Langenpreising.
At the other end of the age scale is Johann Gruber, who was applauded after 45 years of active service with the Langenpreising fire brigade. He received a certificate and a gift from Mayor Peter Deimel. Anton Daschinger also retired after 36 years due to age.

Deimel thanked on behalf of all three mayors for the great voluntary work. The outgoing city council chief wanted the comrades to always come home safely from their missions. District fire councilor Willi Vogl agreed: “Our communities are growing. The challenges are getting bigger and bigger. ”Electric cars are a new problem in the event of a fire. "Hydrogen will also come," Vogl reported from a conference in Ingolstadt. He was also able to report positive things: the district was in second place in terms of the growth in youth fire departments.

Honors for longtime members
"Peter discovered his love for the fire brigade," Denk said to Deimel when he presented the departing town hall manager with a gift: a "pensioner's breakfast" in the village shop. Treasurer Anton Sellmeier will be able to keep him company, because the firefighters had thought of him too.
Klaus Sellmair, Martin Schwaiger and Stefan Stadler (active for 30 years), Tobias Gath (20), Felix Dlugosch, Dakota Elsner, Tobias Gröger, Maximilian Hofer, Valentin Mayr and Martin Brasche (all 10) were also honored.
