The IDF is preparing to open four outpatient facilities for Corona patients around the country.

The effort to establish the hospitalization facilities is led by the Technology and Logistics Division (ATL). Each facility will have 50-30 inpatient beds, and the facilities will be opened near civilian hospitals, primarily with the aim of facilitating the effective transfer of patients in a difficult and mediocre condition.

In preparation for the opening of the hospital facilities, the IDF began to train the medical teams to work with them.

At the same time, yesterday the military laboratory for corona testing began in Zrifin and can carry out up to 300 tests a day, also to the other security forces. As part of the logistical effort, 350 military teams have been trained so far to take the corona tests from civilians and deliver them to the various laboratories.

The IDF is preparing to increase the number of teams per thousand, which will be based primarily on the soldiers who are in the courses. This is part of the decision to rely mainly on regular soldiers and not on reserve personnel.

As part of the preparations for the closure, five logistical battalions were deployed, which were pinned to the districts of the Home Front. Each battalion received vehicles so that it could pass on food and supplies to veterans. The IDF is also preparing to assist the police in enforcing the closure in the cities. Those who act will be fighters (Riflemen 03 and above) who are not currently in operational activity.
