According to the information, a total of 44 cattle are raised in the pasture area. The area was completely fenced and there were warning signs on the gates, the Tyrolean police emphasized in their message.

The note is explained from previous cases - attacks by cows on humans occur again and again in the Alps. After the attack of a cattle in summer 2019, a couple of hikers fell down a slope in Austria, as Merkur.de * reported.

Headlines had already made a fatal attack on a hiker - also in Austria. In Bavaria, too, holidaymakers are now warned about the animals with signs *.
