After Biden was still lagging behind in most of the undecided states on Thursday, he already had the upper hand, no matter how small, ahead of a possible TV network announcement of his victory at Electoral College, based on estimates that the growth rate gap between him and Trump in Georgia and Pennsylvania , Without which Trump has no chance of winning, is consistent with the statistical models that are supposed to allow for a declaration of victory.

Last night (Friday to Saturday) around 11pm Eastern time, Biden delivered a speech in which he refrained from declaring victory, but expressed an optimistic outlook that he would become the 46th President: “We will win this race with a clear majority, and with the nation behind us He said in a speech in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware, with his deputy Camela Harris by his side.

Biden asked his supporters and opponents alike not to get upset and wait patiently for all the votes to be counted, given the close count created this year due to the U.S. corona situation, which led to tremendous growth in voting volumes in general, and postal voting specifically.

"Every vote will be counted," he promised, in effect trying to answer President Donald Trump who argued through his legal moves that the count should be stopped in some places for fear of forgery or uncertainty about when to fill out forms, which may teach about trying to skew election results after Election Day.
