A fire broke out in a Nepal restaurant in Yau Ma Tei, causing 7 deaths and 11 injuries. Among them, the situation of one female wounded has deteriorated today (17th), and now a total of 8 people are in critical condition.

According to the Information Services Department, as of this afternoon (17th), 18 people who were sent to the hospital were aged between 8 and 47 years old. Among them, 7 men and women were dead, 10 injured are still in hospital, and 1 has been discharged; 8 of them are in critical condition. Including 3 men and 5 women, they were admitted to Kwong Wah Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, Wales Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and Eastern District Hospital. As for Caritas Medical and Queen Elizabeth Hospital, each has 1 male and 1 female in stable condition.
