The Neuchingen municipal council decides to install a charging station at the town hall.

The topic of car sharing will also be tackled again.

Oberneuching

- The municipality of Neuching has a charging station installed at the parking lot of the town hall and kindergarten in Oberneuching.

The local council unanimously gave the green light.

The operator will be SEW.

The municipality signs a corresponding e-charging station contract with the Erdinger electricity supplier.

In the spring, the column is to be set up with two charging options for electric vehicles.

Markus Hermansdorfer (WGN) said that all installations and cables must be attached in such a way that children cannot injure themselves.

“Maybe you can take up the topic of car sharing again?”, Beatrix Ertl (CSU) brought another suggestion into play.

Years ago there was an application.

But according to head of administration Andrea Knauer, it was not an e-car, but a larger vehicle with several seats.

Local companies should have sponsored this through advertising.

In contrast to then, the topic is now to be pursued.

Otto Hainz (SPD) brought another expansion option into play.

One should ask whether there are also charging connections for e-bikes.

Mayor Thomas Bartl (CSU) was impressed and made contact with SEW again.

“What is it like in Niederneuching?” Asked Markus Reicheneder (FWG) and suggested the parking lot at the residential and commercial building in the center of the village.

Hermansdorfer sees it there critically.

Because the charge takes around four hours.

“And nobody is at the doctor for that long.” Blocking a parking space for more than four hours is not ideal given the scarcity.

Perhaps the parking spaces across the street would be a possibility, said Martin Schwarzenbeck (CSU).

“Just keep your eyes open to see if there is an opportunity,” appealed Bartl.

Should opportunities arise, Niederneuching could also get an e-charging station.
