At 4 o'clock in the morning, more than 20 vehicles were parked in the Tai Mo Shan parking lot. Most people stopped in front of the road gate to feel the temperature that has fallen below the freezing point. Some people wore their headlights and climbed to the Tai Mo Shan weather radar station.

A group of citizens of 3 men and 1 woman drove to feel the cold temperature. Among them, Mr. Qu only wore a short-sleeved shirt. He described "It's so cold!" and said with a smile that he had loaned his coat to his fellow traveler, Mr. Yao.

It turned out that both Mr. Qu and Mr. Yao also went to Tai Mo Shan in 2016. At that time, the road was frosted and they fell into "one servant and one worker".

They are not disappointed that they have not seen frosting this year.

Another citizen engaged in the entertainment industry, Mr. Chen, said that he went to Tai Mo Shan to experience the cold wind, but believed that no frost was seen because of low humidity and strong wind.

He was not disappointed because he had predicted that frost would not form.

The Observatory issued a cold weather warning at 4:20 pm yesterday, predicting that Hong Kong will be cold in the next two or three days.

A strong monsoon signal has been issued at 1:45 am today. Strong northerly winds are expected in Hong Kong, with an average wind speed of over 40 kilometers per hour, with gales reaching mid-to-high gusts.

According to the Observatory, the lowest temperature dropped to -1.2 degrees between 0 am and 5 am on the 31st.
