Many of the plays that he participated in represented included a number of social, national and comedic meanings, in addition to his participation in various dramatic works, the product of the artist and writer Fouad Balji.
Balji, in a statement to Sana Cultural, pointed out that he tends in his literary writings to write theater because theater is the father of the arts, stressing that cultural and artistic work needs it, especially national theatrical works that reflect the sense of struggle that defends the nation.
Balji said: I wrote thirty-three theatrical works and presented most of the meanings that reflect the national and social reality, and among these plays is a tribute to the martyr that was directed by Marwan Al-Boushi and participated in its representation by Azad Al-Kurdi, Tahiya Mihoub, Muhammad Abdul Karim, Ammar Dalati and I, in addition to a number of critical comedies such as Qaraqosh in which the child was Foz Bedioui who played an important role alongside older and experienced actors.
Balji indicated that he has written many children's plays that have been shown for years now, including Happy, Stubborn, The Troubled and The Promise of Children.
Balji added: I was not limited to writing theater ... I wrote dramas such as Teatro Suri, and with this dramatic work we transferred the theater to the screen as I wrote critical comic paintings directed by Saeed Ataya and we had Asim Hawat, Saeed Ataya and Mazhar Grouj, in addition to comedic dramas in which he participated with me. Ali and Anwar Al-Sheikh also wrote the series Show the Story, which was directed by Ali Dioub and participated in it by Ayman Reda, Tayseer Idris, Amanah Wali, Ahed Deeb and others.
Balji was not satisfied with his theatrical and dramatic writings, but he wrote a number of patriotic songs that were composed and presented during the performance of the plays such as the nation, both by calling, men of truth, and Syria gave you what is going on me, which are patriotic paintings that increase the importance of theater. The artist and writer Balji concluded by saying that what we offer in drama and theater is An integrated culture that includes literature, acting, singing and music

It is noteworthy that the artist and writer Fouad Balji, in addition to what he wrote in terms of plays, dramatic works and patriotic songs, also participated in acting in more than one work, including The Time of Barghout, Intense Care, The Scent of the Soul and others.
