Education assistant to the environmentalist mayor of Strasbourg, Jeanne Barseghian, Hulliya Turan lost her temper during the last municipal council of the year, on December 14, causing a painful abscess to burst.
The debate started with the words to be used to impose respect for secularism in the internal regulations of the City.
The word “

” does not appear there although it is present in an almost identical charter adopted by the Strasbourg Eurometropolis.
The elected EELV Caroline Zorn maintains that "
the principle of secularism should not open the door to discrimination
", that we should not have a "
closed
"
conception
.
Obviously, the discussion quickly escalates.
Nicolas Matt (LREM) points to a "
fearful
Of secularism.
The allies of the environmentalist mayor respond, denounce a
"zemmourization of spirits".
In the opposition today, the former socialist mayor, Catherine Trautmann, who marched in the 1980s against the FN, holds her breath.
