The Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior indicated that all roads in the governorates are clear until this evening, except for several roads in the governorates of Hama, Lattakia and Sweida, due to the prevailing weather conditions.
The Traffic Department indicated in its evening bulletin, of which SANA received a copy, that all roads in Hama governorate are passable, except for the Shatta Jouba Burghal road and Jourin Slunfeh road, due to the accumulation of snow.
In Lattakia governorate, all roads are passable except for Markia road, Maqamat Bani Hashem, which is not passable due to the accumulation of snow, and the road to Slunfeh, the forest broadcasting station, is passable with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow.
In As-Suwayda governorate, all roads are passable except for the roads leading to Al-Mashhanf district and its villages, with difficulty due to the formation of snow and thick fog.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to check the technical condition of vehicles, brakes, tires, windshield wipers, lights, reduce speed, increase safety distance, use fog lights, use seatbelts, and not use a mobile phone while driving in all circumstances and conditions to avoid the risks they face on the roads, noting that it has assigned numbers 5411365 and 5422703 to inquire about the status of Roads.
