A week after surprisingly revealing on television the overwhelming of Marcela Losardo, Alberto Fernández decided to stretch the suspense around the replacement of the minister while internal criticism rained down for the lack of definition that put the presidential authority in check.

"

He is not in a hurry,

" justified an official who spoke with the head of state repeatedly in recent days.

Fernández extended the mystery over the weekend,

in parallel to the strong moodiness over the incidents during the visit to Chubut, destined almost exclusively to Governor Mariano Arcioni for the operation that ended with the truck that was transporting the presidential entourage with shattered windows.

Depending on his immediate surroundings, the President could announce the new minister

"between Monday and Tuesday."

Fernández is facing a crossroads that is growing as the days go by.

A week ago, last Monday night, she announced that her partner and close friend would leave the Ministry of Justice, tired of the constant criticism of Kirchnerism and lackluster management, and seven days later she still had not been able to find her replacement.

This Sunday the mystery continued.

A political strategy that was beaten indoors even by several of the closest collaborators.

Not so for

Julio Vitobello and Juan Pablo Biondi

, the two closest secretaries who follow him in the sun and shade.

They are the exception.

The closeness of both frustrates a good part of the cabinet.

Fernández even thought of the Secretary General of the Presidency as a possible replacement for Losardo, an idea that did not prosper.

The fact is that the head of state gave the judiciary a privileged place on the public agenda since the inaugural speech of March 1.

Much more overturned to the claims of Cristina Kirchner, urged by the files that corner her.

Losardo's departure, which has not yet been made official in the Official Gazette, puts him in trouble:

any movement will be analyzed for the interference or not of the Patria Institute.

It happened with the arrival of Jorge Ferraresi and Fernanda Raverta to the cabinet.

With the difference that now it is released from its partner of more than two decades ago.

The Chief of Staff,

Santiago Cafiero

, and the Legal and Technical Secretary,

Vilma Ibarra

, are two of the President's trusted officials who would have acted differently.

Also

Gustavo Béliz

.

Some of them even protested more than once about the performance of the other circle of collaborators that surrounds the head of state, and that previously included also the deputy Eduardo Valdés, frayed by the VIP vaccination scandal in the Ministry of Health.

Valdés and Fernández met in Olivos last weekend to smooth things over.

The lack of definition of the President collaborates in this sense with

the raffle of names that sound to occupy the chair that Losardo leaves vacant when he travels to Paris

to take charge of the embassy before UNESCO.

The issue made its way into the meal that Fernández shared during the week in Olivos with Cristina Kirchner.

On Wednesday,

Marisa Herrera

, a lawyer from the UBA and CONICET who participated in the drafting of the new civil and commercial code, an active activist for gender equality, was biting into point.

Later, Vitobello and Juan Manuel Olmos, Chief of Advisors, were added to Senator Anabel Fernández Sagasti and Buenos Aires Minister Julio Alak, who already headed the ministry during the K era. Martín Soria and Ramiro Gutiérrez had already been mentioned, appointed by Fernández himself in an interview on C5N.

A wide range for all tastes that shows weakness.

"The President is already decided. He does not come out of those", they trusted this Sunday.

Juan Martín Mena

, former number two of the Federal Intelligence Agency (AFI), current vice minister of Justice, also sneaked into the candidate dance.

But Mena, transcending her surroundings, would have no interest.

He prefers to keep a low profile, and report, as now, without intermediaries to the vice president, interested as anyone else in the judicial agenda.

It is one of the reasons that impacts the indefiniteness of the President.

Having played for Losardo, who resisted in vain to be a minister so as not to leave her comfort zone, did not go well for her

.
