A variety of traditional songs that Tartous is famous for and other songs of the beautiful time presented by artist Ahmed Abdel Hamid at the traditional Tarab evening held by the Culture Department of the Culture Directorate at the theater of the Arab Cultural Center in Tartous.

The evening that was held on the occasion of Mother’s Day came under the title “My mother has a love that cannot be spoken nor written,” and it witnessed a remarkable presence of fans of this singing and of different generations.

The artist Abdel Hamid, who cheered the audience with some of the songs of Fairouz, Najeeb Al-Sarraj and Karim Mahmoud, in addition to the traditional songs and songs inspired by the occasion of Mother's Day, especially the song "Sit Al-Habayeb" by the singer Fayza Ahmed, who confirmed in a statement to SANA his keenness through his artistic career that extends for more than 35 years He collected the lyrical and musical heritage of the governorate, which according to his opinion was not lucky and was not preserved as it deserved, indicating that he works to present most of his concerts with the accompaniment of the oud, based on its heritage and artistic position and being closest to his art and through it the great musicians made the most beautiful works.

Abdul Hamid saluted the mothers of the martyrs and the wounded, hoping that the mother of all, Syria, would recover, so that she would return and embrace her children again.

It was remarkable that the young generation attended the evening, as Muhammad Abu Issa mentioned that what drives him to attend traditional Tarab concerts is his lack of this art with the children of his generation, so he is keen to attend evenings of the artist Abdel Hamid because he sees in it a host of Tartous’s artistic heritage, while Ali Shalish saw in this distinguished attendance an indication of The young generation's love for traditional singing as it is one of the types of intangible heritage, stressing that everyone should preserve it because it represents the history and civilization of any country.
