To this end, the companies wanted to invest 500 million euros through a joint company from 2022, announced the companies based in Stuttgart, Munich and Gothenburg on Monday.
The three companies have signed a corresponding letter of intent.
According to this, the public high-performance charging stations operated with green electricity are to be set up near motorways, at logistics centers and unloading points.
The planned joint company for the construction should have its headquarters in Amsterdam, the agreement on the foundation should take place by the end of 2021.
The companies announced that the charging stations are intended to pave the way for climate-neutral freight transport by 2050.
