The book Inequality in the International Economic System by Dr. Suleiman Abdullah Suleiman examines the economic relations between countries and their impact on international alliances and the use of these relations as a means of pressure by the major powers on developing countries in order to make substantial political and economic concessions.

The book, signed by Dr. Suleiman within the activities of the book fair currently held in the Al-Assad National Library, deals with international economic relations and international law and the effects of equality and inequality on the performance of international organizations and decisions, on the rules of international law, and the agreements and norms prevailing between countries.

Dr. Suleiman indicated that the book sheds light on the dominance of the major countries of the international organizations and their use of unilateral coercive sanctions as a means of putting pressure on others, which makes development not sustainable but rather delayed. Ban, boycott and economic embargo to impose hegemony on countries that are not compatible with the policies and interests of major countries.

The book stated that the provisions of international law were laid down by the victors in the Second World War, which calls for a pause that affirms the equal rights and duties of all nations.

The book, issued by the New Vision House, is 279 pages long, and it is mentioned that Dr. Suleiman is a professor, lecturer and researcher in international economic law and international organizations.
