Daraa-Sana
The Church of Our Lady of Ascension in Khabab, in the countryside of Daraa, opened today the Christmas and New Year's seasons by lighting the Christmas tree and opening the cave with a large audience.
To the rhythm of the trotting ceremony’s tunes and church bells, the tree and the cave were lit, the band performed its performances, and the choir of joy hymns, and the audience enjoyed the dance of butterflies trotting from the training of Nisreen Al Hatem.
Bashar Wahba from the Qassem Khob group expressed during a statement to SANA reporter his hope that God will enlighten the minds and hearts of the Syrians as the tree lights up and put their hands in the hands of each other to build a new Syria based on love and peace, stressing that Bashr, like other villages in Daraa Governorate, will remain an unending torch lit with hope and hope for the reconstruction of Beloved Syria, the return of its displaced and missing children, and the preservation of fraternal coexistence.
Wehbe pointed out that the completion of the tree and the cave was carried out through a trotting ceremony, where the cave included houses, lighting decorations, and a place embodying the site of the birth of Jesus, peace be upon him.
The youth participating in the work expressed their hope that this tree would contribute to drawing a smile on the children's lips and bringing joy to the hearts of the townspeople.
Khabab is located in southern Syria, administratively affiliated to Daraa Governorate, 57 km south of Damascus and 55 km north of Daraa.
