The broadcaster ZDF now wants to take a real fan favorite out of the program, even though it doesn't have bad ratings.
Berlin - Bad news for comedy fans: The broadcaster ZDF * has decided to cancel a popular program - even though the viewers were busy tune in.
There is talk of the show "Merz against Merz" with Annette Frier and Stromberg actor Christoph Maria Herbst.
The comedy show should be over after the third season.
The show has been on television since 2019, and will not continue after the next season.
Fans only have eight episodes left to go.

"The third season is the last of the ZDF comedy series," announced the ZDF on Wednesday.
As usual, Anne and Erik (Frier and Herbst) will take their audience with them once again to live through the emotionally turbulent separation time with them.
The in-laws and son Leon will also be there again.
"Merz versus Merz" will be canceled after the third season.
