The amounts of rain that have accumulated in the north and center of the country exceed the average for the corresponding period in most areas, due to the January rains.
This is especially noticeable in the central and southern coastal plain, where there are quantities of 150% more than the seasonal average, and in some stations 180% of the average has even been recorded.
These areas have already reached the perennial average for the entire season, and have even crossed it.
In the north of the country and in the central mountains, the figures are also impressive, with 110% to 140% of the average for the corresponding period.
In the Sea of Galilee area and in the Golan Heights area, the seasonal average is approaching.
However, a deficit can be found in the northern Negev and the Besor region, where they fell by only about 70% to 85% of the average for the corresponding period.
Easy break in the rains
Meanwhile, the weather tomorrow will be fine with a rise in temperatures that will be slightly higher than the average for the season - but the situation will change already on Thursday evening, when in the evening it will start to rain in the north of the country, and during the night the rain will spread to the center.
On top of that, there may be thunderstorms.
On Friday it rained intermittently in the north and center of the country, which will occasionally be accompanied by thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds.
Snow fell on Mount Hermon, which may also fall in the northern Golan Heights.
