"I think I'm leaving": 66-year-old GNTM candidate infuriated Heidi Klum during dance training

GNTM candidate Lieselotte takes part in the current season of the ProSieben casting show at the age of 66.

But soon the first challenge awaits them.

Mykonos/Munich – For the 17th time in a row, Heidi Klum is looking for “Germany's next top model*” in her ProSieben show of the same name.

In the last two decades, in which the show has already been flickering on many a screen in Germany's living rooms, the last and the current season* in particular have caused a drastic change.

Because since last year, not only has Heidi Klum's choice of words played an important role on GNTM, but also the motto "Diversity" in her model selection.

Since then, the aspiring top models have neither had to conform to the still common model dimensions, nor does the production specify a certain age limit.

So it happened that the 66-year-old Lieselotte* had also applied for the new season and promptly made it onto the show.

A lot is different this year and so Heidi's "Määädchen", who she no longer likes to call that because of the open age limit, had to learn a choreography.

This posed a real challenge for some of the candidates.

"Today I'm going to teach the models a short dance," explained choreographer Miguel Zarate.

The reason: The experts wanted to see how the models could move and how quickly they could learn the dance steps.

Even Heidi Klum herself took part in the training and gave her candidates tips.

"It's best not to think about it at all.

Because when I think about it, I don't really know what to do anymore."

Candidate Lieselotte certainly tried to heed this tip, but she still found the training difficult.

"Lieselotte is at the bottom at the moment," said the GNTM maker in front of the camera.

"She has two left feet, you can tell that." The aspiring model saw it in a self-reflecting way, similar to Heidi Klum: "It was a disaster with this jazz dance," said the 66-year-old in an interview.

Apparently, she suffered from concentration difficulties and found it difficult to remember the sequence of the dance steps.

"Well, you probably notice if it's because of your age," Lieselotte continues.

Finally she thought about giving up and going home.

When she shared her concerns with Heidi Klum, she received little understanding from her model mentor.

"I think I'm leaving," she informed the GNTM boss *, but Heidi was said to have been "a little angry".

"I'm so dizzy, you know.

I have a sense of rhythm, but that's too fast for my head," Lieselotte described her condition, whereupon Heidi Klum suggested: "If you're dizzy, then do piano piano first.

Don't give up right away.

You have the whole day to practice tomorrow.” The prospect of another day of training finally calmed the candidate down and Heidi Klum added encouraging words: “It will be fine, don't panic.” (jbr)
