In "Germany's Next Top Model" a plus-size candidate leaves the show voluntarily.

Mykonos – “Germany's Next Top Model” is about the keyword diversity in the 2022* season.

In addition to three best-ager models, there are also candidates with a wide range of clothing and body sizes.

Everyone is fighting for the title of top model - sometimes the claws are extended for this.

In the fourth episode, the models also call home via video chat – tears flow immediately with plus-size model Lenara*.

The 24-year-old, who has even tattooed herself, calls her fiancé Nico and says: "I just want to go home.

I just don't want to be away from you for a day that I don't have to." In addition to homesickness, she is also plagued by the bad mood in the model's accommodation in Mykonos: "There's been such bad group energy here for days and I just notice that's just not good for me.

[...] It's easy here and I just soak it up," says Lenara, crying.

Her fiancé asks: "Have you been approached by someone or what?"

She's just screaming and she really just wants to grab the win, no matter what it costs.

"For me, that doesn't have much to do with competition anymore," says the blonde later into the camera.

GNTM 2022: Lenara announces her show off

In a conversation with Heidi Klum * the next day, the juror tries everything to change the young model's mind, but is unsuccessful.

"So I'm going," Lenara begins in tears in an interview with Heidi Klum.

"Why?" she wants to know.

“I actually struggled with homesickness right from the start.

And in the last few weeks, the group dynamics have changed extremely negatively," says Lenara.

Heidi reviews: Lenara finally got out of the car in the first episode and told her that she was a born star.

"And now you want to leave because someone is saying some shitty things?

That can't be true!" Heidi Klum is stunned.

Later she found her star statement really uncomfortable, Lenara puts it into perspective.

"You can't let some girl take your goal away from you," Heidi Klum adds privately.

“There will always be moments when you get mad at each other.

Don't let it get you down." And further: "I really like you and I would like you to stay here." But it doesn't help, her plus-size candidate is leaving.

GNTM 2022: Noëlla bursts into tears when confronted

Finally, Lenara Heidi Klum also tells who this “someone” is.

Noella is the problem.

"It's not like she's insulting me.

But it's just the whole charisma.

I walk past it and there is whispering and laughing and such,” explains Lenara, who also struggled with bullying in her school days.

During a high-altitude shoot in which Lenara was afraid of heights, Noëlla previously explained that she was “gleefully” watching her opponents hanging in the air.

Opinions on the exit are divided on Twitter.

"Actually, I like Noëlla, but what kind of action was that?!" And "Noëlla now has sympathy points in the negative," found viewers.

"Talk big at the beginning and then let yourself get down so quickly," counters someone else, for example.

"I can understand homesickness, but then I don't go to a show where you've been away for a long time and you often offend," says another person.

Because there was never a conversation between Lenara and Noëlla, Noëlla starts crying when confronted: "It's just hurtful."
