A solidarity stand was organized in the city of Jenin in the West Bank this evening in support of the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons, especially as they suffer from very serious health conditions in light of deliberate medical negligence.
The Palestinian Wafa Agency stated that the participants in the sit-in tent that was established four months ago in the city of Jenin called on all international, human rights and humanitarian organizations to pressure the occupation to hand over the bodies of the martyrs detained by it and to release all prisoners, especially the sick among them, headed by the prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, who has cancer.
About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails suffer from very serious health conditions, in light of deliberate medical neglect against them, including about 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
