Russia attacks Kiev TV tower
4:38 p.m.:
Russian forces have apparently attacked the Kiev TV tower.
This was announced, among other things, by the Ukrainian parliament via Twitter.
Videos documenting the heavy explosion are shared on social media.
The television tower was apparently damaged, but initially did not collapse.
It is 385 meters high and dominates the city's skyline.
