The Syrian Society for Social Development organized a special event on the occasion of International Women’s Day, which falls on the eighth of March of each year, entitled “Today’s Equality for the Sustainability of Tomorrow”, which included recreational activities and an exhibition of women’s success stories, at the Yasmine House Center affiliated with the Society in Banias in Tartous.
The head of the gender-based violence program in the association, Doaa Taha Pasha, indicated to SANA reporter that the activities started since the first of this March and continue until the tenth of it in the three centers of the association “Beit Al-Yasmine, Ward Jouri and Alton Al-Jard,” indicating that the aim of these activities is to emphasize the role of women in society. .
