A cold front is crossing the coast of Guangdong and bringing rainy weather to the area.
Locally, about 5 millimetres of rainfall were recorded in most parts of the region this morning.
The Observatory predicts that the Hong Kong area will be mostly cloudy today, with cool mornings and evenings. There will be one or two showers of rain at first, and visibility will be low in some areas. It will gradually turn fine and dry in the afternoon, with a maximum temperature of about 22 degrees, with moderate to strong northerly winds.

The Transport Department said that due to mandatory inspections, some traffic lanes on Nanning Street near Aberdeen Plaza have been closed.
Motorists are only allowed to use the remaining lanes.
