With the aim of framing cooperation to implement a work program within the Institute of Special Education for the Rehabilitation of the Blind in Damascus, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor signed today a memorandum of understanding with the Ahdaf Foundation for development and humanitarian projects.
Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Muhammad Seif El-Din indicated to SANA that the memorandum comes within the framework of the ministry's efforts with the priorities it has set, foremost of which is providing the quality services needed for social welfare institutes and increasing the number of beneficiaries.
Minister Seif El-Din added that the program includes providing a number of tools necessary to support the educational process to secure the needs of the institute, in addition to rehabilitating a number of facilities to raise the level of services provided there.
Head of the Coordination and Public Relations Department at the Foundation, Samer Al-Saadi, explained that the completion stages will begin with providing new computers and audio aids for the computer hall, providing the necessary equipment for the printing department, in addition to maintaining existing musical instruments in the music hall, securing some new instruments, providing the necessary equipment for the bamboo profession training hall, and general maintenance for the most important departments. vitality in the institute.
It is noteworthy that the Ahdaf Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Projects is a private, non-profit organization established in 2019 and works to launch sustainable development initiatives to contribute to the empowerment and development of the local community, both economically and socially.
