Beijing, SANA- China called on the United States to fully explain its biological military activities and publish full details

Beijing-Sana

China called on the United States to fully explain its biological military activities and publish full details about its laboratories in Ukraine.

Xinhua quoted Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian as saying at a press conference following reports that there are biological laboratories that store large quantities of dangerous viruses used by the United States to run biological military programs that "the United States, being the party most familiar with the work of the laboratories, should clarify Biological activities and the dissemination of information on them as soon as possible, including the type of viruses stored and the nature of the research being conducted.

The spokesman stressed that to ensure the health and security of the world and the population in Ukraine and the areas around the laboratories, the parties concerned should ensure their safety.

He explained that "the US Department of Defense controls, under several names, 336 biological laboratories in 30 countries, wondering about the real motive for this," noting that "these actions have always been a source of doubt for the international community."

"For 20 years, the United States has suspended the verification protocol of the Biological Weapons Convention and refused inspections inside and outside its borders, which increases the international community's concerns," Zhao stressed.
