Today, an artistic event was held in Aleppo to honor the mothers of children with disabilities, which is organized by For Aleppo Association, in cooperation with the City Council, the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor, and the Loving and Giving Team for Arts and Creativity.

The event, which was held on the stage of Muawiyah Hall, included artistic, dance, poetic, theatrical and lyrical sections presented by children with disabilities. Pointing to the distinction of children with disabilities participating in the event in the field of art and culture.

Engineer Mayada Al-Tanji, Head of For Aleppo Association, explained that the aim of this event is to integrate children with disabilities and normal people and provide them with the opportunity to present their talents through a number of technical paragraphs that carry the message that there is no obstruction with the will.

Donia Al-Arja, a member of the Council of the Union of Charitable Societies in Aleppo, indicated that this event carries a message of the importance of giving the mother and her role in raising the child, stressing the need to pay attention to children with disabilities and to believe in their role in society.

Misbah Askif, Director of the Loving and Giving Team for Arts and Creativity, stressed the importance of the role of children with disabilities in society and the importance of integrating them with normal children to build their abilities and provide them with an opportunity to display their talents and express their energies and ideas.

Among the honored mothers, Jumana Zubeida expressed her happiness with this activity, which achieves interaction between normal children and people with disabilities, which positively affects them, while Nadia Akoush expressed her son's happiness to participate in this purposeful and distinctive activity.

Rasha Muhammad noted the importance of these activities for children, as they give them incentives and bring joy to their hearts, while the child's mother, Ella Bani, indicated that these activities directed at children push them to adapt to society and motivate them to pursue academic achievement.

Aisha Al-Omar, director of Al-Saad Kindergarten, pointed to the need to work on integrating children, believing in their abilities and creativity in many areas, stressing the importance of honoring the efforts of mothers of children with disabilities for their doubled efforts in dealing with their special needs.
