Epic Games' "Fortnite" will donate all its profits from March 20 to April 3 for humanitarian aid in Ukraine.

Epic Games, creator of 'Fortnite', raised $36 million dollars in less than 24 hours for humanitarian aid for Ukraine through profits from its popular game.

On Sunday, the company posted an image on its social networks in which it promised to donate all its profits for the next two weeks to people affected by the conflict.

Where will the 'Fortnite' money go to Ukraine?

A day later, the company posted that at the moment the figure is US$36 million and that these funds will be sent directly to UNICEF, the World Food Program and UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, although Epic Games may announce new organizations among which the funds will be divided.

"We are not waiting for the actual funds to arrive from our platform and payment partners, which may take a while depending on how the transaction was processed," Epic said.

As transactions are reported, we will record them and send the funds to relief organizations within days.

Epic explains that all real-money 'Fortnite' purchases will count, including V-Buck packs, Battle Passes, Fortnite Crew, and store outfits and accessories.

According to details on the Epic Games site, Xbox has also joined this company in the effort to donate its net profits from "Fortnite" during the same period of time, which ends on April 3.

Epic Games' announcement comes at the same time as the start of 'Fortnite' Chapter 3 Season 2, in which you'll be able to find characters like Doctor Strange and Prowler in the Battle Pass.

Together we've already raised $36 million USD for humanitarian relief for Ukraine.

The funds will go to @UNICEF, @WFP, @Refugees, @DirectRelief.
