Maintenance workshops in the Public Establishment for Drinking Water in Deir ez-Zor were able to fix the emergency malfunction on the main ascending line towards the Al-Brock reservoir feeding the city, bringing it into service and re-pumping the water.
The director of the foundation, Engineer Lawrence Al-Hussein, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that an emergency malfunction occurred yesterday as a result of a break in the main line feeding the city of Deir ez-Zor, but the foundation’s workshops managed to repair it after continuous work, pointing out that the pumping of water to the people did not stop, as the Foundation operated the backup stations and road stations Levant, which ensured the continuation of feeding the city with water during the repair operations.
Al-Hussein indicated that the water pumping has now returned to normal.
