Following the attack that took place this evening (Thursday) on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv, and the ongoing hunt for the terrorist, the residents were ordered to stay in their homes.
The passers-by who were at the scene of the incident, unable to leave the blocked area, were invited by the residents of the area to join them in their apartments until the danger passed.
"We live close by, so we looked out of the windows, and saw people running everywhere," said Idan Levy, 25, from Tel Aviv, who hosted people at his home who were at the scene of the attack.
"We saw that there were people who did not know what to do so we offered them to come in. We keep them until they calm down, they are hysterical."
