According to a local report, Vladislav Aviv, a former vice president in the financial body of the Russian national oil giant killed his wife and daughter and then committed suicide, according to authorities in the capital.
The bodies of Aviv and his wife Helena were found this morning by a relative who approached the apartment after the couple did not answer the phone at their home, which made her suspicious.
The body of 13-year-old native Maria was in a separate room and according to local authorities, it was a double murder and suicide, after they allegedly found Aviv with a gun in his hand.
According to information published in the Russian newspaper Pravda, a former official mouthpiece of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Aviv has been involved in a legal dispute with his wife since October last year centered on the joint daughter.
