A young woman in her 30s was shot today (Saturday) in the parking lot of her home in Qalansawa while she was in a train.

The young woman was shot in the head and chest at close range in broad daylight, the shooter apparently fled and police opened an investigation into the incident.

According to the police statement, the injured woman was evacuated by local medical personnel to the Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba.

In an MDA statement, it was learned that the young woman was fatally wounded and she was evacuated during resuscitation operations, with penetrating injuries. 

Taibeh police officers under the command of the station commander were called to the scene and began collecting findings and evidence from the scene.

Clalit Group's Meir Medical Center reports that: "A woman in her 30s arrived at Meir Medical Center in critical condition with gunshot wounds from a shooting incident in Qalansawa, was rushed to the shock room and trauma teams and the emergency department continue to fight for her life."
