Do the Central Bureau of Statistics believe that Judea and Samaria is a separate political entity from Israel? Judging by the options presented to surfers on the bureau's website, it seems on the face of it that the answer is yes.
Benjamin Sheinberg, a resident of Ma'ale Hever in the Hebron Mountains, uploaded a screenshot of the CBS website to Twitter, which shows a table of countries to choose from by surfers who fill out an online form. One of the options, separate from the State of Israel, is "Judea and Samaria."
"I came across this by chance when my 16-year-old daughter, who was destined and asked to participate in the census, asked me to help her fill out the forms," said Sheinberg, a high-tech man who also edits the local newspaper Droma, which is distributed in his area.
"In one of the questions we had to choose the country of birth of the mother, and when we typed the letter Y, the beginning of 'Israel', the option 'Judea and Samaria' was accepted."

The surprised Scheinberg, as mentioned, uploaded the screenshot to Twitter and also tagged the CBS spokeswoman, who as of the time of publication of the article has not yet replied.
"Israel Today" contacted the Prime Minister's Office, which is responsible for the CBS, but has not yet received an orderly answer on the matter.
